Methodology
In order to identify which markets performed the best, we carefully ranked each zip code in Jefferson County and also each county that borders Jefferson County. We also only used areas that had at least 100 units sold or more. To do this we calculated multiple statistics and graded them on a point scale to determine the overall health of the market in that area. Some of the statistics that we reviewed were; Median Sale Price growth by percentage, Median Sale Price growth by dollar amount, Average days on market compared to the overall average for the Louisville Market and Number of units sold compared to the previous year.
