About Oldham County KY

Oldham County, was established in 1823 and became the 74th county in Kentucky. It was created from parts of the surrounding counties: Henry, Jefferson, and Shelby. It was named after Colonel William Oldham, who was a notable Revolutionary War officer from Jefferson County.
