A small city in Oldham County, just west of Crestwood KY. Named after a bird, the Eastern Wood-Pewee. However, Pewee Valley is actually located on a ridge and not a valley. The population is estimated to be around 1,400. You can find some beautiful historical homes located throughout, but the new development in the city really didn’t start to pick up until the late 70’s and early 80’s. Subdivisions all throughout the Oldham County area really began to rapidly grow. Today there is estimated to be upwards of 600+ homes in Pewee Valley.
